Digital Health Monthly: Scientific Webinar Series
Sensor-based DHTs are shedding an illuminating light on how people function in their real-world environments. Drug developers, researchers, patients, and regulators are realizing the multifaceted value sensor-based DHTs can bring to clinical research.
As their adoption continues to grow, the ActiGraph team is excited to continue ‘Digital Health Monthly’, a monthly series of science-focused webinars to share the latest high-impact developments in clinical research from innovators in the digital health field. Each month, we feature brief data-driven presentations from clinical researchers, data scientists, and biostatisticians on a focused topic with dedicated time for audience Q&A. We believe that together, we can move the digital health technology field forward faster, and we are excited for this opportunity to facilitate important discussions on the latest research with members of the digital health community.
DECODE, the Digital Endpoint Collaboration for Outcomes DEvelopment, is Ametris' pre-competitive framework designed to mobilize the life sciences industry around shared clinical measurement challenges that no single organization can tackle alone.
Digital measures used in clinical trials must be meaningful to patients, scientifically valid, operationally feasible, and regulatory aligned. DECODE framework was developed to advance the development and validation of fit-for-purpose digital clinical measures for indications where traditional measurements fall short. Through industry stakeholder consensus-building, patient engagement, clinical study and regulatory alignment, and shared evidence generation, each DECODE project aims to close these clinical measurement gaps so patients get the treatments they need, faster.
This 60-minute session begins with an update on the regulatory landscape for Digitally Derived Measures. We’ll then introduce the DECODE framework and present key results from the first DECODE initiatives and the launch of new DECODE initiatives in respiratory, cardiometabolic, and neuroscience. We’ll wrap up the session with a panel discussion and Q&A with the audience.
Learning Objectives:
-
Understand why cross-industry collaboration is essential for validating digital clinical measures
-
Recognize what it takes to make a digital measure patient-meaningful, scientifically valid, and regulatory-aligned
-
Assess how pre-competitive models can accelerate treatment development in areas of high unmet need
